How does fuel cost splitting work?
The Rodx algorithm calculates the exact fuel and toll expense for the shared route based on distance and vehicle type. The cost is divided equally among co-riders and transferred automatically through the app with zero awkward cash exchanges.
How are co-riders and car owners verified?
Every member must complete mandatory Government ID verification (Aadhaar or Driving License) and link their institutional or corporate email before publishing or booking shared seats.
Is there a women-only carpool option?
Yes. Female car owners and commuters can activate the “Women Only” filter to view, book, and travel exclusively with verified female companions.
Can I select flexible pickup points along the route?
Yes. Drivers designate convenient pickup hubs along their typical commute corridor (such as metro stations and major tech parks) so passengers can hop in smoothly without route detours.
What happens if a co-rider cancels late?
Our cancellation policy protects vehicle owners: if a passenger cancels within 2 hours of departure, a partial fuel credit is credited to the driver to offset empty seat costs.
